I have been in the striping business over 31 years. Twenty-one (21) years with FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) and ten (10) years with Palm Beach County as a Construction Coordinator overseeing Roadway Striping projects on County Roads. When Southwide started striping for Palm Beach County as a contractor I didn’t know that much about them and didn’t know what to expect but as the journey started back in 2009 with Southwide up to the present 2017 I have been greatly satisfied with their performance for example, their dress code on the roadway their courtesy with the citizens, safety concerns and workmanship placing down thermoplastic pavement marking as well as paint and other materials related with striping. I have been greatly satisfied with their mobile operation throughout the day and night. They are a company that is willing to step outside of their comfort zone and take on new challenges that are requested or suggested on the job by the County. In my opinion they’re one of the best striping companies in South Florida and I highly recommend Southwide.
Southwide takes the guesswork out of your signage and striping needs. The entire staff and personnel are great to deal with. Any issues or conflicts are resolved quickly because of their knowledge of the standards and design. I am always pleased with the final product that they provide.

Since that day, I have only called Southwide Industries to work directly for PCL Civil Constructors. Since 2010 we have teamed up to work on 4 bridges and have combined for over 25 traffic switches , all of which were safely completed within the allotted road closure timeframe. Southwide’s knowledge of the of the most current state specifications and design standards impresses both state inspectors and engineers alike. On multiple occurrence’s both PCL Civil Constructors and the State inspectors have leaned on Southwide’s knowledge and experience to provide safe travel lanes for the travelling public. Southwide’s availability and timeliness is beyond the industry standards. Whether is Saturday Night, Sunday Night, Holidays or the middle of the day, Southwide has always arrived on time with all the necessary materials ready to work.
In today’s fog of contractors constantly requesting extra work orders, Southwide’s ” get it done” and ” whatever it takes” attitudes is a breath of fresh air. This impressive quality is a shared trait with all Southwide’s foremen and it’s a company mantra. I have stood with Southwide and they have battled the elements, dried a wet road and even cleaned miscellaneous debris all in the shared effort to open the road in a timely manner.
Southwide Industries has never let me down, and for that reason they will be the only Roadway Striping Company I will call when I’m in the South Florida Area.
